Pepsi K-Boats
The Pepsi KRR or K-boat is the big daddy of automotive powered runabouts. The engines and blowers are now limited on open cockpit boats while capsule boats run with no limitations.  Brute horsepower sends the hulls flying around the race course at over 140 mph. Some say the K-Boat driver willing to push the accelerator the longest and hardest will surely win.
BJ's Tavern 2.5 Liter Hydro's
The BJ's Tavern 2.5 Liter Hydro's return in 2008 after a long absence from the Snake River course.  2.5 Liter Hydroplanes are powered by 4-cylinder Ford engines (2000cc or 2.3 Litre) on pump gas, the 2.5 Litre affords very exciting side-by side racing at an affordable cost.

Smith's Food and Drug Super Stocks
The Smith's Food & Drug Superstock boat consists of an 18 foot long flat bottom mono-hull with a rear mounted inboard engine. The boats use a 427 big block Chevy engine, which essentially makes all the boats the same.  All of the regulations make the class similar to NASCAR in that every driver starts off equal.
DL Evans Bank Grand Nationals
== With its change-of-pace, 10 and 20-lap endurance racing format, the Grand Nationals are always a treat for Idaho Regatta race fans. In 2003, the DL Evans Bank Grand Nationals saw a  reduction in the number of levels within the classification from three to one. All boat engines have been reduced to 525 cubic inches without a blower, while those with blowers are limited to 470 cubic inches.  The class uses a Lemans start which means they warm up, shut down on the beach and then all start from the beach when the flag drops...it's exciting and a great way to cool off is to stand behind the boats during the start.
Budweiser Cracker Boxes
The Budweiser Crackerbox is a unique class of inboard race boats, featuring two occupants.  The design of the boat has been unchanged since its beginning in the 1930's The boats have a flat bottom with a hard chine design. The boats can be from 13 to 15 feet in length.  They are powered by an American made, cast iron block with a maximum displacement of no more than 314 cubic inches.
Coast To Coast Carports Pro Stocks
The boats are similar to Superstocks without nearly as many regulations. The engines can be as big as 500 cubic inches and they can use fuel injection or carburetors.  A Coast To Coast Carport Pro Stock with a 500cc engine will make between 1,000 and 1,200 horsepower in an 1,800-pound boat. Speeds in the straight-a-way can reach 120 to 125 mph.  Some Superstocks are also numbered with Pepsi Pro Stock markings as they "cross over" to compete in the class for APBA Points.
Cycle City Nostalgia Jet Class

The Cycle City Nostalgia Class is limited by speed but not by boat classification, you'll see boats that date way back in racing history among the field but that resemble a Fairfield Inn Competition Jet from days gone by.  This is a way for those historical boats to hit the water and race with limitations.  You'll will want to bring your camera and plenty of film to capture photo's of these beautiful boats on the water or in the pits.

Mr. Gas Nostalgia Flat Bottom Class

The Mr. Gas Nostalgia Flat Bottom Class is limited by speed but not by boat classification, you'll see boats that date way back in racing history among the field but that resemble a Pepsi K-Boat or a DL Evans Bank Grand National.  This is a way for those historical boats to hit the water and race with limitations.  You'll will want to bring your camera and plenty of film to capture photo's of these beautiful boats on the water or in the pits.

Fairfield Inn Competition Jet Class

The Fairfield Inn Competition Jet Class is typically filled with Southern Idaho locals and this year will be no different.  Event founders Don Moyle and Glen Dilworth compete side by side with Race Committee Chairman Mark Moyle and a field from all over the West
